FYD Tour Concert Omaha – Video Highlights

We recorded the Follow Your Dreams Tour concert at the Sozo Coffeehouse in Omaha, Nebraska on October 12, 2017 and created a Video Highlights film on YouTube. This is to show a small portion of what we do in the concerts and outreaches as we encourage folks to dream and to not give up. Depending on venues, we can do speaking and/or music and add dance, comedy and acting in as well. Read more

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS | Joseph James

I really felt like I needed to record my new song yesterday and get it out so it could be heard. I really feel like someone’s life might depend on it. I recorded it live here in Oklahoma. It will become the theme song for the tour after I record it at a later date and add full backup instruments and drums.

I don’t care what you’re going through and how hard things seem. There is never an excuse to end your life, in my opinion. There is always hope. I know, I’ve been there too. It was a really bad situation. All seems hopeless in the moment, but trust me, the Lord will eventually help you through, just wait for Him and reach out to those around you if you can. Message me. This is the whole basis for the tour, to Save A Life! We need you. You have a purpose and a great destiny in His Kingdom or the devil wouldn’t be trying so hard to take you out. No race worth running is ever easy, but when you cross that finish line… Blessings… Be encouraged.

Smoking Of The Gun

SMOKING OF THE GUN (Live) | Joseph James – Do you know of someone who is deep in depression and suicidal? Joseph and his wife minister to those going through dark times, because we’ve both been there and made it through. If you read Janiece’s bio, http://sentencedtodeathdestinedforlife.com, you will see that she’s gone through multiple attempts in her past. She has videos there as well.

The God Of…

I awakened in the night hearing the Lord speak to me over and over about He’s the God of… The thing that brought this up was the Foreword that Dennis Goldsworth-Davis wrote for us to add to Janiece’s biography, “Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life – Tell My People I Love Them! – The Janiece Turner-Hartmann Story” written by yours truly. In the last paragraph he writes, “Who knows what miracles are awaiting all whose hearts are open to the potential of the God of Janiece. He is your God too!” So, I’m hearing this going over and over in my spirit as the times goes by. The God Of… Read more

Who I Am

Who I am. Who am I? Who are you? Why are we here? When I think of these questions I think back to when I heard a song by Supertramp called, “The Logical Song.” One of the main lines of the song is, “Can someone please, just tell me who I am?” If you’ve never heard of it, you can google it to find a site to listen to it. The album came out in 1979 and we still ask the same questions today. Who am I? I bought the album as soon as I could and would cruise up and down the streets in my home town at night just listening to it. It was just me, the music and the wind blowing through my open windows in the cool night air. This was the question on my mind during my teenage years, “Who am I?” Why do we do the things we do? Why do we have to conform to these worldly standards? We don’t have to conform, there is a better way. Throughout all of history, good changes come when people dare to stand up with a better way. Before we can do that, we must find a better way. Who I am! Read more

Helping Those Who Need Help

We have ministered in 8 public meetings here in Colorado Springs since May with our JOURNEY TO HOPE! public meetings and have another one at 7pm this Friday, August 23, at Wellsprings Worship Center. We have listened to feedback from those who have attended the meetings and have produced a 7 DVD series called JOURNEY TO HOPE! in response to their comments and concerns. The main resounding comments we are hearing are concerning mainly churches. Read more

JOURNEY TO HOPE!

After two weeks of filming and editing, we have now produced the JOURNEY TO HOPE! 7 DVD Series with Janiece Turner-Hartmann. We published her biography, SENTENCED TO DEATH, DESTINED FOR LIFE! in July 2011. The biography gives certain details about her life and documents her journey through some of the greatest miracles in our generation. In the JOURNEY TO HOPE! DVD Series, Janiece identifies with 7 major struggles in her life, relates to each one and shares how she made it through victoriously. This series was designed to help individuals identify with and overcome in these areas in their lives. It also helps others to identify with people who are going through some of these struggles in their life and perhaps gain some understanding in order to be able to help and encourage them along the way. Hurting People

As I read the comments sent personally to me from people all over the world, I realize more and more how many are hurting, broken and torn. Our world is going through so many changes as we go from individual economies to a world economy. Everything is changing and it is causing so much fear and panic. This fear and panic is ripping into the core of families and relationships and causing many casualties emotionally. Where do we turn? Who has the answers? Who really cares? Is it every person for themselves? Hurting People! Read more

Traumatized

Has something happened to you that is so bad, you can’t even see how you are going to make it through the day, let alone the rest of your life? Was it a violent act? Was it divorce, the loss of a loved one? Was it the loss of a job, or friendship, sickness or injury? What do you do? Traumatized! Read more

Surviving Divorce

What do you do when the love of your life says they want a divorce? What do you do? How do you cope with it and better yet, how do you go on? With some people divorce seems such a trivial thing. I haven’t been able to figure this out. If that person was really committed to the marriage, why didn’t it effect them the same way? I’ve been through several divorces with my mom and two personally and there are no easy answers. SURVIVING DIVORCE… Read more

Laugh, Laugh Again

I can’t seem to say enough about this subject. I wrote another post titled, “Laugh At Yourself.” You might like to read it also. Regardless of what we are going through we need to laugh. I am not saying there isn’t a time to grieve or to be serious. These times do come and go and when they do, it is good to go through them. I am not referring to these times, eventhough it is good to find short periods of time to laugh during these times, if you can. LAUGH, LAUGH AGAIN! Read more

Overcoming The Darkness Within & Depression

Overcoming depression can seem like a hopeless situation, especially when one feels like they are falling down into a deep dark chasm from which there seems to be no escape, let alone hope. Many in the medical community will say that medical treatment is the only way for help, to which I declare not necessarily so. I’ve walked within the clutches of depression during various times within my life, and my wife, Janiece, almost lost her life to its deadly stranglehold. I am speaking from experience and not some textbook theories and studies that many may hold up as truth, but in the end may do more harm than good. (Please note: I am not saying that some of these methods do not help some to some extent and even serve to provide some hope and prolong life.) I am saying that to totally rely on this as The Truth is a very treacherous path to walk. OVERCOMING THE DARKNESS WITHIN & DEPRESSION! Read more
