Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life

Press Release

The miraculous story that is touching and helping to change lives everywhere is now being written into a screenplay from her new biography for an upcoming movie. San Antonio native, Janiece Turner-Hartmann, who forged two paths for women in the electrical and printing industry by becoming the first woman electrician and offset printer in San Antonio continues to forge new paths. Walking where few dare to journey with documented triumphant victories in some politically sensitive subjects, her story is challenging and changing many people’s views on the miraculous in our generation.

Her biography, Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life Tell My People I Love Them! The Janiece Turner-Hartmann Story, published in July 2011, is available now in six countries as well as on the Kindle and Nook. They have received numerous comments and testimonies, some of which are available to read on the book web site of how some have been touched, challenged and healed.

In March 2013, Joseph, Janiece, and their son, Daniel, began traveling the USA and abroad to share her story and to minister to people in person. A short stop in Colorado Springs to relocate, provided some extra time to write a large portion of the screenplay before Joseph attended a national movie producers conference in Los Angeles in June. They also produced a 7 DVD series called JOURNEY TO HOPE! An upcoming TV show with the 700 Club and CBN is also in the process to help bring global exposure to this incredible story.

Sentenced To Death, Destined For Life Tell My People I Love Them! The Janiece Turner-Hartmann Story, encompasses a journey of over 50 years in the life of Janiece from the beginning of the decade of the 1960’s to present day. It is a story of a woman trying to find her God while navigating through a terrorizing path of twists and turns that are strewn with dangers and extreme pain. Through this journey she forged two paths for women in the electrical & printing industry by becoming the first woman electrician and offset printer in San Antonio, Texas.

The documentation and the unique style of the story line took Joseph seventeen years to gather and to craft with over a year to write the final draft. Now that the book is completed, the journey to share the miraculous healing power of the Lord is just beginning.

“There is a saying in Yorkshire England, ‘It is better felt than telt,’ which means if you can experience something, it has a greater value than talking about it,” says Dennis Goldsworthy-Davis, founder of Great Grace International, and Great Grace International Christian Center in San Antonio, Texas. “This book is such an experience! The Janiece Turner-Hartmann story is about a true God given miracle! Written by her husband, Joseph, after years of walking with the miracle and living with the miracle, he decided to document it for all; so that others could believe that God is a miracle worker in the every day people, as He always has been and always will be. I first met Janiece nearly 20 years ago, when she first came into our fellowship, one mid-week meeting. I have been privileged, with my wife, to watch the ongoing miracle ever since. She is modern proof of the ability of the Lord to heal, deliver and work His grace deep within a person’s life. She is still the loudest person during a message, having never lost her joy and wonder at the amazing grace of her God. Her journey still continues, her hope still burns bright and her testimony continues to thrill.”

“Suddenly, Death was thrown down violently to the mat and Life arose victoriously. She was Destined For Life and He came in His resurrection power, reached into her mind, and began the long healing process on the journey to a full recovery.”
